Dennis Kerr and Erin Rosenthal began working collaboratively for Mattel,
Inc. in the late 80's, using computer animation.
Their experience developing graphic prototypes and models led them
to form their own partnership in 1990.
Moving into educational television production, Kerr and Rosenthal provided the graphics for a show that won a New Media InVision Award for Children's Enrichment . Shortly thereafter, they joined a gaming company to provide computer graphics for the popular X-men™ Sega® cartridge. Their exceptional products won them their next job designing and programming titles for Educational Insights, for whom they produced the award winning GeoSafari® title.
GeoSafari, an enormous innovative multimedia project, introduced the partners to Macromedia tools and that company's brightest minds. Collaboration was in order as the multimedia world stood at the edge of the abyss separating digital tools from more compelling digital productions. Joining Kerr and Rosenthal in the leap were Nick Roberts and Steve Glovsky.
